18th Anugerah Industri Muzik Awards
A good news indeed,ManMadeMachine’s Martojaks got nominated for “Best Album Cover Designer” for the Malaysian 18th AIM awards 2011 for designing Pop Shuvit’s CherryBlossom Love Affair album,fingers crossed and hopefully, we get to bring home something awesome, but even if we don’t, on the brightside at least being nominated sounds good enough.
This year, the awards ceremony will be held on 12 November at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. The event will be telecast live on Astro Ria (Ch104) that night from 8.30pm. Check out the (partial) nominations list below:

Here’s another post on the making of CherryBlossom Love Affair Project, after weeks of bouncing around ideas, the whole cyberpunk/thrashpunk theme sorta caught us off guard in focusing the art direction well,then we went, ‘ok,gas masks,we need those’.
after coming up with a few sketches of gas mask shapes and designs,this piece was selected and went for the final detailing before sending over for print on the CD.Meantime,Rudy came up with the idea of having this as the drum bass skin, a high res version was sent over to www.drumart.com ,a printing company based in Altamont,New York. And no kidding,this fellas rocked our world real hard,to all rockers,be sure to check them out.

Sneaked & Peaked
Some sneak shots on the current project for Pop Shuvit’s latest Album ‘CherryBlossom Love Affair ‘ Album Art. Its been 10 years since the birth of Pop Shuvit and for this piece they were going for an experimental direction from Music to Art,basically ,
a new beginning.
Instead of designing just like any ordinary album layout with a booklet and a CD,here’s what they are going for,a story book.An album with pages attached to tell everyone a story,a hidden message through every page along with illustrations.
After weeks of briefing and bouncing around ideas of Chaotic Beauty ,they really wanted something out of the box, something totally different from how Pop Shuvit would look like all this years ,moots!( Lead Vocalist) and Rudy (Drummer) went
‘ok,lets just go crazy’.
And crazy as it is,we did.
And it was good.
Will post up more pieces once they’ve officially launched their album.

Birth
First post to bring life to this site,its good to finally have the opportunity to share the love of Art across the globe,nothing means anything more than this.An update on whats new here,currently,i’ve been working on a project along side with the Malaysian made Pop Shuvit, one of Asia’s premiere Hip Hop Rock act that has won numerous awards in the music scene and has also worked with acts such as My Chemical Romance, The All American Rejects, The Wu Tang Clan, Zion I, Wes Borland and many more.
It has been one hell of a ride along with this fellas,throwing in ideas for their upcoming album and i’ve laid out tonnes of concept and visuals for their latest album ‘Cherry Blossom Love Affair’. Being a big fan played an important role too upon reaching our final destination.
